EMDR Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma, and Relationship Patterns in Lititz & Lancaster, PA
You may appear capable and put together on the outside — the one everyone depends on — but inside you may feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in painful patterns, or exhausted from constantly caring for others.
DBT skills and EMDR therapy can help you understand these patterns, reconnect with yourself, and build relationships that feel healthier, safer, and more balanced.
Therapy— including EMDR— is available virtually across Pennsylvania or in-person in Lititz, PA (10 minutes from Lancaster). Choose what works best for you.
You deserve a life where your voice, identity, and well-being matter too.
Do any of these feel familiar?
You may be someone who thinks deeply about your life and relationships—but still finds yourself stuck in patterns like:
• Anxiety, panic, or depression — including suicidal thoughts
• People-pleasing, boundary struggles, or codependency
• Addiction or unhealthy coping habits
• Being in a relationship with someone struggling with addiction
• Eating disorder patterns or body image struggles
• Trauma or childhood relational wounds
• Repeated unhealthy relationship dynamics
• Identity confusion or disconnection
• Burnout, stress, or work difficulties
Many of these experiences come from trauma-driven relational patterns, learned survival strategies, or family dynamics.
I provide therapy for clients in PA, with virtual sessions available across the state, to create a space where you can gently explore how these patterns formed. Then, we begin building healthier ways of coping, connecting, and living.
What Therapy With Me Is Like — Virtual & In-Person Across PA
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’ve spent years managing on your own or caring for others. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe slowing down, exploring your experiences, and making sense of the patterns that have shaped your life.
Clients often describe therapy with me as:
• Compassionate and non-judgmental
• Grounded and practical, not just talking in circles
• Curious about deeper patterns rather than focusing only on surface symptoms
• Supportive yet honest, helping create real and lasting change
Many clients come carrying a mix of experiences — anxiety, trauma, addiction patterns, eating disorders, depression, or relationship struggles. Therapy gives us space to understand how these pieces connect so healing can happen in a meaningful and sustainable way.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. We simply begin where you are.
My Approach to Therapy
I specialize in helping people heal from trauma-driven relational patterns, including:
• Codependency — relying too much on others, or others relying too much on you
• Addiction dynamics — struggles with addiction in yourself, a partner, or your family
• Identity challenges — feeling disconnected from who you are
My approach combines emotional insight with practical tools, including:
• EMDR therapy to process and heal from trauma
• Grounding and nervous system regulation to manage overwhelm
• Exploring relational patterns and attachment dynamics
• Building healthier boundaries and communication
• Strengthening identity, self-trust, and emotional resilience
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, therapy addresses deeper patterns, helping you create lasting change — so you can feel more confident, connected, and like yourself in your life and relationships.
Hi, I’m Kay Bela.
I’m a therapist and EMDR practitioner passionate about helping people untangle the deeper patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Many of my clients are thoughtful, insightful people who have spent years trying to understand themselves and improve their lives — yet still find themselves repeating painful cycles.
My work is shaped by both professional training and personal experience navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss of family due to addiction, and recovery in my own life.
Therapy provides a space to explore those patterns with compassion and curiosity so meaningful healing can begin. My work focuses on helping clients reconnect with themselves, strengthen their sense of identity, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
