Interning and Volunteering

STEPS TO APPLY:

By joining the Kay Bela Coaching Team, you'll have the opportunity to build your skills and test out various ways of using your degree.

Kay meets with each intern to discuss their strengths, areas of growth, and passions. Kay then does her best to lead and teach with intentionality to provide a positive intern experience.

Whether you are working on a degree in the mental health field or simply want to be a better mental health advocate within whatever field you're pursuing, you are welcome to apply for interning at KBCC.

In Kay's words, "The mental health field is in such need right now and unfortunately, many agencies are not respecting the boundaries and needs of their employees.

Many of us end up choosing to run our own businesses, but it's not a skill we learn in our counseling programs.

Supporting interns allows me to contribute to the growth of the profession, educate others in how to lead a business AND be a great mental health professional or advocate."
