Minimalist Lifestyle Tip: Let That Shit Go
Ever take a photo of yourself or BUY something and realize it’s just not right for you?
Not every shot in life is going to be glamorous and sometimes we try something and it doesn’t work out.
Fine, call it a failure and throw yourself a pity party for a sec, but then remember it’s also a victory because you’ve also now learned that that’s not what you want to do.
This week, my focus has been on minimalism and simplifying your belongings and your home to free your mind and lifestyle to be more true to who you are. When I go to toss something or donate something I hardly used at first, I feel a little shy because I spent money on it!
If you’re frugal like me, you understand this dilemma!
Save EVERYTHING. 😂
BUT, the more I traveled and grew to accept who I was and what I REALLY WANTED, I realized how much LIFE I could have if I just LET THAT SHIT GO.
Yes, you tossed away something that had memories of your past, but babe, those memories are IN you.
YOU are still living and when I’m gone I want to be remembered for what I GAVE and the LIFE I lived rather than the material stuff I held onto.
I say this out of love— not to feel bad, but to FREE you because you now have permission to let it go and move on to bigger and better things!
Like a three month adventure with your husband! 😜
